Official Opening of Loong Hin Kitchen(13.3.09)

It was Loong Hin's Kitchen official opening yesterday, a typical hongkong style eatery run by my cousin & his Hongkong nationale husband. The eatery house has an average seating capacity, not big but condusive for sure. LHK is located at Serangoon Gardens, 2-3mins walk from Chomp Chomp Food Centre. Along the stretch where LHK is located, you can find KTV pubs and a dessert house, whereby after having meals at LHK, you can go for your kala kala sessions with friends or enjoy a bowl of dessert just 2 units away.

Before the official opening, the whole family had been invited to the food tasting. The food was prepared by a hongkong chef as well, every plate of dish came in big portion and so tasty. I love the soup, the claypot chicken, the fish...mama mia! I would not want to describe much but I can tell you we enjoyed the food so much....

Today, I'm going to share with all of you one of our proudest moments..our Little Princess receiving her Bilingual Awards for her 2nd time. The first time was in 2007, when she was in P1.

Friends, I miss you

Lately I have ran into 2 of my secondary schoolmates Jessie & Monica during my office lunch break. It has been 18 years eversince we left school leading our own life. Wondering how can we just parted like this? Could it be our friendship was not as dear or we are overwhelm by our own lives that no one bothers to take the lead.

However, I was so delighted and initiated a lunch to catch up. Though it was just an hour lunch, we had shared pretty much....but just not enough! Before we part, we have decided to meet up for lunch on 13th of every month...who say 13 is an unlucky no? I simply like this number haha!

Hopefully through them, I would be able to see my old friends again....very soon. God will grant me the wish.

FINALLY...a blog for myself

Always wanted to have a personal blog long ago but was too lazy to create & maintain. Feelings that bottle up need a way to release, be it good or bad. Not very good expressing in words, to pen down is my alternative.

Hope to make many genuine friends whom i can share my thoughts and experience with...be it happy or heartbreaking.
